Isam Ghanim is president and CEO of ChildFund International, a child-focused organization serving children and families worldwide since 1938. His career began at CARE Sudan following his postgraduate education at Sudan’s University of Khartoum. After 21 years in various roles with CARE, Ghanim joined ChildFund, where he remained for 11 years, eventually overseeing all ChildFund’s program teams worldwide. In 2018, Ghanim became president of Search for Common Ground, a peace-building NGO focused on transforming how the world deals with conflicts. He returned to lead ChildFund in 2022.
