Katie Turner is global research and advocacy adviser on volunteering for development at VSO International. She is responsible for the Valuing Volunteering project, a two year action research project being conducted by VSO and the Institute of Development Studies that explores how, where and when volunteering affects poverty and contributes to sustainable development.
