Lara Schibelsky Godoy Piccolo

Lara Schibelsky Godoy Piccolo is a human-computer interaction researcher exploring the potential of technology to influence positive changes in communities. She has worked on technology design with a sociotechnical approach, involving communities in participatory activities. She obtained her Ph.D. in 2015 at the Institute of Computing at the State University of Campinas in Brazil. As a research associate at the Knowledge Media Institute of the Open University in the U.K., she is investigating engagement with social issues by means of social technologies.
