Peter Gubbels is the director of action learning and advocacy for West Africa at Groundswell International, a global partnership that strengthens rural communities to build healthy farming and food systems from the ground up. His 34-year career has been dedicated to strengthening the leadership and organization of rural communities to meet basic needs and improving the well-being of families. Born in Ontario, Canada, and raised on a farm, Peter has now been based in West Africa for more than 23 years and currently resides in Northern Ghana.
