Prak Sophonneary

Prak Sophonneary, holding a master of public health, is the Secretary of State for Cambodia's Ministry of Health and the Chair of the Cambodia MMS Steering Committee. She has been working with the Ministry of Health since 1997, holding a number of positions ranging from National Nutrition Program’s technical officer, deputy director for the National Maternal and Child Health Center, under secretary of state for health, and then to the secretary of state for health. Sophonneary has made significant contributions to the development of nutrition policies, regulations, and training curriculum. She has been advisor or chair of various studies and research projects in Cambodia.
