She is best known for founding the Ashden Awards for Sustainable Energy – now renamed Ashden – in 2001. As director of Ashden, Sarah is a regular contributor to UK and global policy debates in the field of sustainable energy and an active member of the UN’s International Sustainable Energy for All Practitioner Network.
