Gregory Gottlieb

Gregory Gottlieb is responsible for the overall direction of the Feinstein International Center at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University. Throughout his career, he has worked to improve food security, humanitarian, and transition programs and he brings this focus, dedication and determination to Tufts.

Gregory Scruggs

Gregory Scruggs is a journalist based in Seattle. He has a bachelor's degree from Harvard University and a master's degree from Columbia University. A specialist in Latin America and the Caribbean, he was a Fulbright scholar in Brazil. His coverage of the Habitat III summit and global urbanization won a 2017 United Nations Correspondent Association award. He coordinates the Seattle chapter of the Solutions Journalism Network.

Greg S Garrett is the executive director at Access to Nutrition initiative, or ATNi. He oversees all aspects of the organization, including strategic collaborations with partners and stakeholders. Previously, Greg worked at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, or GAIN, as director of food fortification and as director of policy and financing.

Grete Faremo

Grete Faremo is undersecretary-general and executive director of UNOPS, the United Nations’ infrastructure and procurement specialists. She previously served in the government of Norway and led four ministries during her time there. Prior to joining UNOPS, Ms. Faremo was also director of law, corporate affairs, and public relations at Microsoft’s Western European office.

Gro Harlem Brundtland was prime minister of Norway, and as director-general, led the World Health Organization’s response to the SARS outbreak in 2003. Helen Clark was prime minister of New Zealand, and in 2021 co-chaired The Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response. Jakaya Kikwete was president of Tanzania, and in 2015 chaired the UN High-Level Panel on the Global Response to Health Crises. Ban Ki-moon was secretary-general of the United Nations from 2007 to 2016 and established the UN High-Level Panel on the Global Response to Health Crises in 2015. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf was president of Liberia, and in 2021 co-chaired The Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response.

Gry Tina Tinde from Norway is gender and diversity coordinator with an international organization. She has served in two U.N. peacekeeping operations and her background covers protection from sexual and gender-based violence, Code of Conduct issues, refugee women’s livelihoods and fundraising, as well as election monitoring, social media campaigning, university lecturing and being UNHCR spokesperson.
