Ivan Menezes joined Diageo in 1997 and held various senior management positions with Guinness and then Diageo until 2004 when he was appointed president of Diageo Venture Markets. Prior to his appointment as COO in March 2012, Menezes was president and CEO of Diageo North America for eight years. During this period he was also made chairman, Asia Pacific from October 2008 and chairman, Latin America & the Caribbean from July 2011. In September 2017, he became chair of the CEO Group at the International Alliance for Responsible Drinking, a global not-for-profit organization dedicated to addressing harmful drinking and promoting responsible drinking.

He has previously worked in similar regional advocacy roles within INGOs, including Mercy Corps, ActionAid, and Plan International. Jack is also currently a national chairperson of Kenya's Socio-Economic and Financial Inclusion Sector Working Group, which is a platform that convenes diverse stakeholders and policy makers.

Dr. Jackson Otieno is the senior research and policy analyst at AFIDEP and technical co-lead of the Financing Accelerator Network for NCDs (FAN). Dr. Otieno brings over 18 years of professional work experience in national planning and development, strategic management and performance, and resource management. Prior to joining AFIDEP, Dr. Otieno worked with the Kenyan government, in different ministries and agencies, in the functions of health, planning, and development.
