Malalai Habibi

Malalai Habibi is part of the first master’s cohort in the Keough School of Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame, concentrating on international peace studies. Previously, she supported peacebuilding, educational, and cultural activities with the Afghan embassy and Tehran Peace Museum in Iran, and Herat University in Afghanistan. Her research and work focus on governance, women, peace, and security.
Malayah Harper

Malayah Harper

Malayah Harper is a global health and women's rights expert and a powerful voice of #MeToo. She is an executive in residence at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, an adviser for Fair Share of Women Leaders, a founding board member and global champion for SheDecides, and the incoming director of sexual and reproductive health and rights at EngenderHealth. She is the previous director of gender equality and diversity at UNAIDS. She was the first woman to waive her right to anonymity and speak publicly about sexual harassment at UNAIDS in 2018.

Dr. Malcolm Beveridge is director of aquaculture and genetics at WorldFish, a Penang, Malaysia-based affiliate of the Consortium of International Agricultural Research Centers that promotes sustainable aquaculture as well as productive and resilient small-scale fisheries for world food security.

Maleiha Malik is executive director of global advocacy organization Protect Education in Insecurity and Conflict (PEIC), a program of Education Above All, a foundation which focuses on protection and provision of education during war, conflict, and insecurity. EAA has programs that protect and provide education in the world’s most challenging conflict zones, such as South Sudan and Syria.

Malia Politzer

Malia Politzer is an award-winning long-form journalist who specializes in international development, human rights issues and investigative reporting. She recently completed a fellowship from the Institute of Current World Affairs in India and Spain. For three years, she worked as a feature-writer at Mint, India’s second-largest financial newspaper, where she wrote about international development, strategic philanthropy and impact investing. She holds an M.S. journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where she was a Stabile Fellow for Investigative Journalism, and a B.A. from Hampshire College.

Maliha Khan

Dr. Maliha Khan has dedicated over 30 years to advancing gender equality, starting her career in Pakistan by advocating for girls’ and women's inclusion in male-dominated development projects. She has held leadership roles in program design, implementation, and evaluation at organizations such as Care and Oxfam, and was previously head of programs at Malala Fund before joining Women Deliver. Committed to addressing the sector’s colonial and racist legacies, Khan strives for systemic change. She holds a doctorate from the State University of New York and a master's degree from Quaid-i-Azam University, with a background in academia as a former associate professor. Her experiences reinforce her belief in the necessity of representing the most vulnerable girls and women to achieve meaningful global change.

She is a co-founder of the Women in Global Health, UAE Chapter, and co-founder and co-executive director of the International Working Group for Health Systems Strengthening, a global community that convenes emerging public health professionals and catalyzes action toward local and global health systems strengthening.
