Mario Villamor

Mario is a Devex senior contributor and communications specialist having worked for UNFPA, IOM and Devex advisory services branch. Prior to Devex, Mario was a researcher for the Boston Consulting Group in Boston, Massachusetts, where he supported client engagements in a variety of sectors, including the public sector, global health and the social impact space, among others. Before joining BCG, Mario earned his master’s degree in global affairs from New York University.

Marion Sharples is policy & communications officer at the Gender & Development Network. She sits on the WIDE+ Gender & Trade working group and is a trustee of Women Working Worldwide. She holds an MSc in Gender, Development and Globalisation.

Marion Subah is the Liberia country director at Last Mile Health, where she manages the organization’s partnership with the Liberia Ministry of Health to scale and sustain the National Community Health Assistant Program. A trained nurse-midwife, she has 40 years of experience working in Liberia's health system.
Marionne Tucker

Marionne Tucker

Marionne Tucker is currently the Director of People and Culture for World Vision in Kenya; a position she has held since 2009. She graduated from the University of Sierra Leone in 1986. Marionne entered the NGO arena with Plan International, Sierra Leone in 1986 as head of donor services where she served for three years before joining CARE International in 1989. She joined World Vision International in Rwanda as HR director. Marionne has also done assignments for World Vision in Mauritania, Chad, Angola and the U.S.

Marisa Sofia Terán

Marisa Sofia Terán is a Reach Alliance researcher from the 2021-2022 case study on Mexico’s migrant indigenous communities. Graduating with honors from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Marisa holds a degree in Marketing with a specialization in Social Development. She is currently the marketing manager at Travelers with Cause, an organization with social projects in 30 countries, and has coordinated several social projects in America and Africa.

Marissa Ryan

Marissa Ryan is Oxfam International’s deputy director of advocacy. She manages Oxfam’s advocacy offices for the EU in Brussels, the U.N. in New York, the World Bank and IMF in Washington, D.C., the OECD in Paris, and the Russian government in Moscow. Marissa provides strategic leadership to our global teams in relation to Oxfam’s core policy priorities: reducing economic inequality, food and climate justice, women’s rights, and humanitarian response.

Mark Allen

Mark Allen has over 20 years of professional experience in both the private and international development sector. Mark recently served as the director of strategic partnerships and global programs with MSD for Mothers, responsible for managing strategic investments across the global portfolio while managing key partnerships that are helping to accelerate impact. He currently is the executive director, health equity, strategic partnerships and digital data solutions at MSD.

Mark Ashurst is a Devex correspondent based in London. He was the founding director of the Africa Research Institute from 2006 to '10. Mark has written extensively on African issues, including for The Guardian, The Independent and South Africa's Mail & Guardian. He has appeared on BBC Radio, CNN, Al-Jazeera and other broadcasts, and was an Africa correspondent for the Financial Times, The Economist and Newsweek. He is the director and publisher of Black Cat Media.
Mark Bromley

Mark Bromley

Mark Bromley is co-chair of the Council for Global Equality. He helped launch the council in 2008 to encourage a clearer and stronger American voice on international LGBTQI+ human rights concerns. Mark previously served as a foreign policy fellow in the U.S. Senate and as director of external relations at Global Rights. He has testified before Congress and published on human rights and international law issues.
