Anna Lartey

Anna Lartey is currently a professor of nutrition at the University of Ghana where her research has historically focused on maternal and child nutrition. Lartey was the president of the International Union of Nutritional Sciences from 2013 to 2017, which led her to the role of director of nutrition at the Food and Agriculture Organization from 2013 to 2020.

Anna Mortimer

Anna Mortimer is a practicing therapist with a master's in psychoanalytic theory from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust. She writes on psychotherapy for Prospect Magazine and is a former Moscow correspondent for The Times (London). She is also the author of the Faith Zanetti quintet of novels, two further thrillers including The Oligarch's Wife, and a memoir about her war correspondent father, Every Time We Say Goodbye. A member of the WEF's Global Shapers Community, she is also the co-founder of Save Philippine Seas, a movement to protect the archipelago's marine resources through social media and legal advocacy, and Isko Cleans UP, a waste management program.

Anna Patton

Anna Patton is a freelance journalist and media facilitator specializing in global development and social enterprise. Currently based in London, she previously worked with development NGOs and EU/government institutions in Berlin, Brussels and Dar es Salaam as well as in the U.K., and has led media projects with grass-roots communities in Uganda and Kenya. Anna has an master’s degree in European studies — specializing in EU development policy — and is a fellow of the On Purpose social enterprise program.

Anna is a fellow of On Purpose, a social change leadership program.

Anna Scott

Anna Scott is a journalist and editor specializing in human rights, open data and global development. She is writer/editor at the Open Data Institute and was previously a journalist at the Guardian, where she wrote and commissioned pieces on broad global development-related issues, from international aid transparency to global health. Anna also helped set up the Europe office at the Center for Global Development, where she handled policy outreach and produced the podcast Development Drums.

Anna Van Acker is president and managing director at Merck Canada Inc. She has almost 30 years of wide-ranging experience at Merck in important leadership positions across multiple therapeutic areas and geographies. Ms. Van Acker is dedicated to improving and saving patients' lives through ensuring access, affordability and appropriate use of Merck's innovative product portfolio. Van Acker is a member of the board of directors of Innovative Medicines Canada. She also sits on the board of directors of Montréal InVivo.

Anna Coutsoudis

Anna Coutsoudis is a public health scientist and a professor in the Department of Pediatrics & Child Health at the University KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa. She has done extensive research on HIV and nutrition, and especially in breastfeeding. She established the first community based breastmilk bank in South Africa specifically to provide donor breastmilk to AIDS orphans. She is now collaborating with the Department of Health and PATH to scale up of human milk banking in South Africa in neonatal intensive care units as well as in rural community based human milk banks through the GSK/Save the Children Health Innovation Award.

Annabelle Burgett is an associate program officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she works on the development policy and finance team, focusing on aid policy and debates surrounding the post-2015 development agenda and financing for development. She holds an M.P.A. in international development from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University in the United States.
