Rachid Benjelloun is an experienced trade and international development professional with over 22 years of experience managing and overseeing programs in trade policy, trade facilitation, World Trade Organization negotiations and compliance, regional trade agreements, e-commerce, and connectivity related to information and communications technology. He is currently chief of party on the U.S. and Egypt’s Trade Reform and Development in Egypt project, implemented by Palladium.

She is recognized for providing results in user-friendly formats to support implementation of findings.

Rafael Dezcallar de Mazarredo

Rafael Dezcallar de Mazarredo

Rafael Dezcallar de Mazarredo is chairman of Ayuda en Acción since October 2024. A career diplomat, he served as the Spanish ambassador to China, Germany, and Ethiopia and held key roles in international organizations, including the United Nations and Spain’s Secretariat for International Cooperation and Ibero-America.

Rafael Vilasanjuan

Rafael Vilasanjuan has been director of ISGlobal’s policy and global development area since March 2011. He was also deputy director of the Centre for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona from 2006 to 2011. He worked for over 12 years with Médecins Sans Frontières, starting as communication director in 1995 and later as general director of the Spanish section of MSF. In 1999, when the organization was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, he was appointed general secretary of MSF International, organization in which he worked until 2006. During this period he worked in conflict zones such as Afghanistan, Chechnya, Somalia, Sudan, West Africa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Colombia and Iraq.

Rafael Jose Vargas Alves

Rafael Jose Vargas Alves is a clinical oncologist at Hospital Santa Rita and at Oncoclínicas Group in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He is a professor at Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre and a preceptor and a supervisor of the medical residency at the UFSCPA/ISCMPA program in clinical oncology. He also coordinates the ISCMPA Cancer Registry. He holds a master’s degree and a doctorate in Epidemiology from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. His research interests are cancer epidemiology and health economics.

Ragini Ahluwalia is the APAC global health lead for Accenture Development Partnerships and a senior manager for strategy at Accenture. She has more than 10 years of experience in driving strategy, partnerships, assessments and thought leadership with global health and international development organizations. She has authored several papers, including on the topics of One Health, digital health, and health equity.
Ragnheiður Elín Árnadóttir

Ragnheiður Elín Árnadóttir

Ragnheiður Elín Árnadóttir has been the director of OECD Development Centre since August 2021. She served as minister of industry and commerce in Iceland from 2013 to 2017 and was an elected Member of Parliament for the Independence Party from 2007 to 2016. Before being elected to Parliament, she was a political adviser to the minister of finance, the minister of foreign affairs, and the prime minister. She also worked for the Trade Council of Iceland both in New York and in Reykjavík.

Rahaf Al Sanosi is the co-sherpa of the Civil Society Engagement Group. As an advocate for social change and the economic empowerment of marginalized groups, she has dedicated her career to developing social protection policies, poverty, and inequality research. She currently serves as a director for policy design and advocacy at the King Khalid Foundation where she leads the foundation’s efforts in advancing the prosperity of Saudi society with an emphasis on labor market interventions, social transfers, financial inclusion, and global civil society trends.
