Prior to VSO, she held leadership roles at Merlin and CARE International, with field work on humanitarian interventions as well as long term recovery and development programs.

Previously, she served in leadership roles with CARE and Habitat for Humanity and spent more than a decade working to end world hunger in roles with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the U.S. government.
