Bahrain’s Cabinet was reshuffled over the weekend as part of the government’s latest bid to appease the Shiite-led protests against the country’s Sunni-led leadership, Reuters reports. The ministers of Cabinet affairs, health and housing were among those relieved of their posts, the news agency says, citing government sources. Thousands of demonstrators continue to converge in central Manama, demanding the resignation of all Cabinet officials and a new constitution that supports an elected government.
