    Bangladesh released a five-year development strategy that includes seeking international aid for poverty reduction programs, the Financial Express reports. The plan also seeks financing for the implementation of the country’s second poverty reduction strategy paper.

    Some anti-globalization groups in the country, however, are against seeking outside assistance. These groups urge the government to avoid too much external assistance at the risk of accumulating huge foreign debt.
