The agricultural policy priorities of the European Union’s Belgian presidency will focus on the common agricultural policy and dairy sector. These were presented July 12 by Belgian minister Sabine Laruelle at the 3026th Council on Agriculture and Fisheries.
The future of CAP will be the main agenda of an informal meeting of EU agriculture ministers slated for Sept. 21 in La Hulpe. It will also be tackled in the December meeting of the Council on Agriculture and Fisheries. Meanwhile, the work of the high level group on milk will be discussed at the next meeting of the council on Sept. 27, Euroalert reports.
