China to Improve Rail Services With ADB Loan

China will be receiving up to USD1 billion from the Asian Development Bank to be used for a

in the country. The program aims to improve and expand the rail services in Guangxi, Guizhou, Sichuan, Yunnan and other underdeveloped and underserved provinces in the southwest region of China. ADB will disburse USD300 million and a concessional technical assistance package as the loan's first installment. The program will be implemented by the country's Ministry of Railways.
