    Climate’s impact on health: How do we respond?

    How can the global development sector respond to the ever increasing health risks posed by climate change? Experts in climate and health policy and development discuss in this virtual roundtable event for the Planet Health series.

    From rising rates of diseases related to warming temperatures to the devastating health ramifications of extreme weather events, the climate crisis is threatening to undo hard-won health gains.

    But despite the risks and the need to build more resilient health systems, policies and funding mechanisms related to the environment and health are often separate from each other, and the issues are dealt with in siloes.

    In this special Devex LinkedIn Live event held on March 14 that coincided with the 58th session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, experts gathered to discuss how climate change could be properly addressed in our global health systems, and vice versa.
