The Clinton Foundation Haiti Fund has raised more than USD14 million and facilitated approximately USD25 million for relief and recovery efforts in Haiti, according to the latest fact sheet released June 2 by the foundation.
Since its creation in January, the fund has allocated USD3 million to various organizations engaged in relief and recovery operations in Haiti. These organizations include ACTED, CARE, Concern Worldwide USA, Medecins Sans Frontieres, Oxfam, the Food and Agriculture Organization, and International Rescue Committee.
The fund is currently supporting the delivery of some USD16 million worth of supplies, including 121 trucks, 14 pieces of heavy equipment, four portable classrooms and USD300,000 worth of seeds.
