'Crunch time' for post-2015 talks — UNDP

Olav Kjorven (UNDP): Progress report on the post-2015 global development agenda

How close is the international aid community to crafting the next development framework to replace the Millennium Development Goals?

In this video interview, Devex reporter Paul Stephens asked Olav Kjørven, special adviser on the post-2015 agenda to U.N. Development Program Administrator Helen Clark.

Kjørven shared with us the issues that still need to be discussed before the U.N. General Assembly in September, such as trimming down to a “manageable number” the currently proposed Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the next steps in the process before member states negotiate the final deal in 2015.
