Salary transparency remains a hot topic across sectors. Proponents continue to argue that it is needed to help close pay gaps for women and minorities. While others say salary transparency is more trouble than its worth as it can create conflicts within teams.
Personally, I say the more information, the better. This is also the approach Devex takes with its job board, as we’ve been encouraging employers to include accurate salary ranges in the postings they make over the past few years.
