DFID Frees More Funds to Combat Hunger in Kenya

A further GBP5.5 million (USD7.6 million) will be released by the U.K. Department for International Development to help feed hungry Kenyans. "We will only provide funding where it is sure to go to those most in need," British Secretary of State for International Development Douglas Alexander

. The fresh funding will assist the World Food Program's operations in the East African nation.
