EU, DFID Help Set up South African Job Generation Fund

The European Commission and U.K. Department for International Development is backing a 120 million-euro ($174 million) Employment Creation Fund for South Africa. The commission and

are offering 100 million euros and 18 million pounds, respectively, for the fund, which aims to support the South African government's priority programs on infrastructure, economic growth and employment generation.
