An overview of the leading local organizations hiring in Europe.

Since the USAID stop-work order was announced on Jan. 24 this year, Devex data shows there have been 7,118 opportunities in Europe. That’s a drop of nearly 28% compared to the 9,844 opportunities in the equivalent period last year. Data suggests that despite the budgetary cuts and shifts, recruitment in the region remains active with several organizations continuously engaged to hire development professionals. In this article, we highlight the top multilateral organizations and notable local organizations currently recruiting within the region. The top multilateral employers hiring in Europe 1. International Organization for Migration Headquarters: Geneva, Switzerland Year founded: 1951 Total jobs posted since Jan. 24: 926 The International Organization for Migration is focused on supporting and developing effective responses to the shifting dynamics of migration and providing advice on global migration policies and practices. IOM mainly advertised mid-level opportunities and fixed-term positions.
