    The European Commission has announced new initiatives to reduce poverty and promote climate adaptation in the Pacific. It will provide €30 million for trade, €20 million for disaster risk reduction, €12 million for integrated management of coastal, terrestrial and marine environments, €4.3 million in humanitarian aid, and €8 million for climate adaptation measures.
