The Food and Agriculture Organization has received $3 million from Norway and $2 million from Germany to support its program that aims to assess the role of farming in mitigating global warming.
FAO’s Mitigation of Climate Change in Agriculture program seeks to identify ways of mitigating the effects of climate change through improved farming practices, the International Business Times reports. It also involves profiling greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture.
