The Food and Agriculture Organization has launched a project that aims to increase the harvest of some 3,500 small and medium-sized food producers in four Central American countries, namely El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. The project, which is supported by a USD5 million donation from the Italian government, will run for three and a half years, according to the United Nations News Center.
