Food security hinges on agriculture partnerships

By 2050, the world will have to produce more food than it has in its entire history.

This is the enormous challenge that confronts us, Robert Fraley, executive vice president and chief technology officer at Monsanto, told Devex in this video interview, emphasizing that the participation of various sectors is needed to attain a level of food security.

Natalie Dinicola, Monsanto’s vice president for sustainable agriculture partnerships, added that partnerships have played a crucial role in mitigating the effects of drought and climate change in sub-Saharan Africa.
