France OKs $488M in Development Aid

The French Development Agency, or AFD, has approved €350 million ($488.41 million) worth of financing for 17 development projects, including an education initiative in Senegal and a power plant rehabilitation scheme in Ghana.

The funding, which was approved July 7 by the AFD, includes the following allocations:
