Germany and Australia will help Vietnam address climate change and other environmental issues under a new partnership signed March 8 by German Minister of Development and Cooperation Dirk Niebel and AusAid Deputy Director Richard Moore, VOVnews reports. The two countries agreed on a joint program to finance Vietnam’s efforts to improve its coastal management capacity, conserve biological diversity and promote energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy.
