Global Fund to Open New Funding Round in May

The board of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria will open its 10th call for funding proposals on May 20, 2010.

According to a Global Fund press release, proposals for this round may be submitted from the opening date through noon CET of Aug. 20, 2010. These applications will be screened by the Global Fund Secretariat and an independent team of health experts.

Successful applications are expected to be approved for an initial two-year funding during the Dec. 22 meeting of the Global Fund board.
