    The escalation of several global conflicts, such as in Gaza and Sudan, continues to inflict severe humanitarian impacts and displacement. Additionally, the worsening climate crisis further disproportionately impacts these marginalized communities.

    Amid these crises, organizations like the United Nations Development Programme aim to play a pivotal role in strengthening global governance frameworks, promoting human rights, and supporting sustainable development.

    As the lead United Nations agency on international development, UNDP works in 170 countries and territories to eradicate poverty and reduce inequality. They help countries develop policies, leadership skills, partnerships, and institutional capabilities, Lykke Andersen, the head of talent acquisition and people programs at UNDP, told Devex.
