The Inter-American Development Bank offered a USD500 million conditional credit line to help Brazilian states upgrade their fiscal, financial and asset management systems. The program seeks to utilize digital bookkeeping and tax accounting as well as integrate fiscal systems at both state and federal levels. Ceara will be the first Brazilian state to benefit from the initiative.
