Guyana will benefit from a USD27.9 million Inter-American Development Bank credit, which aims to enhance access of low-income families to housing services. The initiative will focus on developing new housing sites with basic services, consolidating existing housing schemes, upgrading squatter areas, executing pilots to address issues of affordability and sustainability, and strengthening the capacity of the Central Housing and Planning Authority.
