IFC Offers Loan to Build Water Purification Infrastructure in India

The International Finance Corp. provided a USD15 million loan to finance WaterHealth India's project to construct water purification facilities in Indian villages,

reported. Paolo M. Martelli, IFC South Asia director, said the project is IFC's maiden venture in the country's distributed water services sector.
