IMC Gets Funding Boost for Haiti Work

The International Medical Corps has received USD500,000 from the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, Reuters reports. The sum will help the humanitarian nonprofit continue operating mobile medical units across quake-hit Haiti.

“Our outreach into the community through mobile and static clinics is essential to reaching the hardest hit and most vulnerable populations who might not otherwise receive care,” said Nancy Aossey, head of the aid group.
