India is seeking a World Bank funding for the implementation of its e-Government Procurement project, which aims to digitize the process of all government purchases. To be executed by the National Institute of Smart Government, a pilot is due to start in a few states to identify issues related to policies, technology solutions and platforms in addition to data security and services.
