India State to Receive Additional JICA Aid

The Indian state of Orissa will be receiving additional financial assistance from the Japan International Cooperation Agency for the completion of a JICA-backed irrigation project in the state. The additional funding, worth 150 crore Indian rupees (USD32.5 million), will finance the construction of some 71 kilometers of the left bank canal of the Rengali irrigation project,

reports.
