India’s environment secretary Vijay Sharma is joining a growing list of contenders seeking the top U.N. climate change post, to be vacated by Yvo de Boer in July, the Times of India reports. Sharma will be facing competition from South Africa’s tourism minister Marthinus van Schalkwyk and a potential nominee from Indonesia.
