Infrastructure veterans win IDIQ USAID contract

The U.S. Agency for International Development has awarded two five-year contracts to experienced firms in the construction and engineering field.

United Infrastructure Projects and AMEC Environment & Infrastructure Inc. have each won a $70 million indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to provide design and construction services for the East Africa Regional Construction project.

UIProjects was founded 15 years ago in the United Arab Emirates. Headquartered in Dubai, the firm has won more than 230 infrastructure and construction-related projects funded by the U.S. Corps of Engineers, U.S. Navy, USAID, International Security Assistance Force, the World Bank and Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment.
