Japan Ready to Scale Up IMF Reserves

Japan is keen to offer some USD106 billion to the International Monetary Fund should the global lender need supplementary funds to assist emerging economies, a Japanese government source revealed. Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso is expected to make the pitch at the forthcoming G-20 summit on Nov. 14, the source added.
