Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev received Chinese Defense Minister Liang Guanglie in the capital city of Astana, where the two pledged to enhance their bilateral and military ties. The two officials agreed to boost cooperation in energy, security, trade, and economy among other fields, Xinhua News says. Kazakhstan is the last stop of Liang’s three-country trip, during which he also visited Pakistan and Turkmenistan.
