Kenya Gains Japan Aid for Irrigation Scheme

    The Japan International Cooperation Agency is lending USD156 million to help develop irrigation networks in Kenya’s Mwea region. The project seeks to enhance local capacity to operate, maintain, and manage core irrigation infrastructure. It will also help to upgrade irrigation facilities.
