Laos Appeals for Disaster Assistance

    Laos has appealed to international donors for

    as it recovers from floods caused by tropical storm Ketsana, which struck the country on Sept. 30. The typhoon caused the worst floods the country has experienced for years, leaving at least 11 dead and USD100 million worth of properties damaged.
