Latin America’s exports could grow by up to 29 percent in 2010, according to the Inter-American Development Bank. Total exports this year are projected to exceed USD853 billion, the bank’s Integration and Trade Sector has noted based on preliminary estimates. This year’s projected increase reverses a 23 percent slump in the region’s export in 2009, IDB said in a news release. Among the best performing countries in the region in terms of exports are Brazil, Mexico and Chile.
