Let's rise to the challenge of global food security

The past five years have seen a “massive shift” in attention towards food security, and the challenge now is to build on and sustain that attention, says Fintrac's Kimberly Flowers in a video interview as part of Feeding Development.

Climate change, urbanization, population growth, under-nutrition — all of these threaten to outpace our capacity to feed the world unless the global community reimagines what is possible through partnership between the public and private sectors, through approaches that integrate food security and nutrition, and through funding commitments that reflect the scale of the challenges we face.

Those changes are starting to happen, according to Kimberly Flowers, director of communications for Fintrac.
