Host: Kate Midden, Devex engagement editor
The situation in Venezuela has been deteriorating rapidly. Almost 90 percent of Venezuelans are living below the poverty line, and 50,000 Venezuelans cross the border to Colombia each day. The IMF projects inflation will reach more than 13,000 percent this year.
Devex Engagement Editor Kate Midden and Reporter Teresa Welsh discuss how Venezuela reached this point, and the complexities for local, regional, and global entities responding to the crisis.
