The Asian Development Bank will grant USD10 million to help distribute free textbooks to some 270,000 primary school students in Mongolia. The initiative will build on the country’s Education Sector Reform Project, which seeks to provide information and communication technology in classrooms, enhance training facilities for teachers, and improve the institutional capacity of the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science.
