The Norwegian government has donated 10 million Norwegian kroner (USD1.6 million) to Médecins Sans Frontières.
Minister of the Environment and International Development Erik Solheim made the pledge during a recent gala concert to raise money to finance MSF’s operations, according to a Dec. 4 press release by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Solheim said he is impressed with MSF’s work in areas ravaged by war and natural disasters, the press release adds.
