The Norwegian government will provide USD41.55 million to the United Nations Development Program as part of the European nation’s program cooperation agreement with the agency for the period 2010-2011.

The funding will target UNDP’s programs on democratic governance, anti-corruption, human rights, crisis prevention and recovery, and energy and environment.

Norway and UNDP have partnered on a biennial basis since 2003 to help realize the Millennium Development Goals.
